How to make a header

Start with a new image which can be any size,I use 780x240 pixals, and set to white background

Now you have your blank template,so lets spice it up a bit with a texture. Go to file, Browse and this will open all of your pictures in a specific folder.

Select any texture you want, I'm selecting this pink one here
next go to edit, copy. Then you can close out of the other stuff leaving your white template left. Go to that white image and edit paste as new layer.

Sometimes the texture may not fit into the white template, that is easy to fix, simply go to the deformation tool, and you will be able to streatch the texture to fit like so.

Now I have my texture to fit the white template, lets add some images.

I went back to file ,browse then chose a picture I wanted to use.I picked this picture of a woman,then went to edit, copy. Now close down that picture and go to the first of which we were working on.

Once there you click edit,paste as new layer. Then I moved her over to the right hand side, you can put the picture whever you want.

Go to Layers,Merge then Merge all and flatten.Now I'm going to add a border to it using a psp plugin called Border Maina, and 3d soft color #1,another little screen will pop up.

and set the border width to 14, Highlight Intesity to 144, and Shadow Intensity to 92, Notch Corners Checked, then hit ok and it will look like this.You can add other things as well like another picture or brushes.

Then You want to add some sort of text be it for a website or whatever your doing the header for.This is for my personal website, so next I will click on the text tool it will look like the letter A.Now once you click that ,point your mouse on the image and left click bringing up the text window.

using any style of font, write a name or words in there. Then Hit ok.

Then File, save as..name the image whatever you want and then its done!

How to make a signature

This is a tutorial about how to make a signature in paint shop pro,however you can also make it in Adobe Photo Shop, it is the same way if you know your tools well, it doesn't make a difference in what program you use. First open a new image within your program,click on your text tool, In Paint shop it will look like the letter "A" then click on your image and a box will come up where you can chose your color you want the text to be, make sure that it is big enough where you can see it, big bold letters are always better, click layers and merge all flatten. Next take your magic wand tool and click on the background, make sure the background color is white in your color pallet,this will select the background color, go to selections and invert, then take the scissors tool which will cut it then hit the tool that looks like a clip board ,it will paste as a new image on your background and make it transparent so you can use it anywhere and it will blend with where ever you use it. Next we are going to save this image as .psp be sure to name it so you can find it later, go to your animation program, open the image we were just working with in it, copy the first image and paste into the frame after and do this for each letter of your name on the signature, next take the flood fill tool,this will look like a paint bucket,select a color,fill in the first letter,then select another color and go to the next image filling in the second color and continue until you finish with the last letter, next go to the play animation button and it will play the animation so it flashes or blinks at you, you can then close out the animation and file save as your name.gif
