Pirate The World has to be one of my favorite games you get to make money on. It may be a slow process but it's fun to plunder gold, dive in the lagoons and search islands for many different treasures.
Gift pearls are some of the many awesome things you can find in this game, sometimes they hold Free laptops or free T-shirts and other various things, sometimes you get regular pearls that have gold or just moves for in game use.
They also have a chat area such as an IRC type chat room where you can talk to other pirates and players, I think it is always fun to talk about who is where, where you can find gold and other things.
Be careful because you don't want a lot of fame to rack up, you want to make your ship strong and powerful and start plundering other pirates and trying to sink them!
At the end of the month you can exchange your gold for real cash into your paypal account or keep it to use in game, if you don't pick it will be returned to your ship. Either way it is all up to you in what you'd like to do because it's yours, but be careful in game because it can always be stolen away from you, if you keep your fame down your less likely to be attacked by other pirates.
